For over sixty years, the Carrano family name has been synonymous with fine Italian made luxury goods. Andrea Carrano began creating his line during World War II. And even the downward spiral of the economy at the time did not stop women from trading in their own leather goods to wear a pair of Carrano’s shoes.

Today, Andrea’s business is influenced by his wife Elisabetta (Betta) and her daughter, Valentina. Both women actively engage in all aspects of the family business- from designing- to scouting for fabrics- to test driving the shoes themselves. The Carrano women will not allow a shoe in their line that they are not comfortable wearing themselves.
