Linda Pritcher

Linda Pritcher infuses her artistic heritage with her passion for fine Italian craftsmanship in every shoe she creates. Her shoes have been described as “little works of art.” Linda, an accomplished visual artist and painter, holds a fine arts degree from Rhode Island School of Design, and received her fashion and shoe design training at Fashion Institute of Technology and Parsons School of Design. After many years as a designer in the fashion and shoe industries, Linda introduced her own footwear collection in 2006. Her appreciation for fine Italian craftsmanship began at an early age. She remembers her mother eagerly awaiting the slender package with the elegant writing that arrived each season from a small shop in Rome. The scent of the fine leather gloves discovered within and the pleasure of wearing them are treasured memories. Linda’s design career led her to Italy frequently, and she was married in Venice. Today, Linda finds inspiration in the culture, art and history of Florence, her home base in Italy. Her shoes blend artistry with luxurious leathers and textiles. Thoughtful performance comfort features further complement the chic, classic styling of her silhouettes. “My design philosophy originates in the visual richness of textures, the mystery in the play of form and color and a fundamental desire for beauty and comfort. I aspire to create shoes that capture the unique and expressive nature of the women who wear them.”
