Chie Mihara was born in Brasil in 1968 - the second of three sisters to Japanese parents. While living in Japan from the age of 18-22, Chie studied fashion design and eventually moved to NYC to study accessories design at the acclaimed F.I.T.

After doing an internship at Eneslow, an orthopedic shoe store, where she learned about the foot and its problems, and after designing shoes for Sam & Libby and Charles Jourdan, Chie started her own line in 2001.

Married with 3 kids, Chie lives in Spain and enjoys dedicating her life to her family and her passion - her unique, fresh, and carefully crafted line of Chie Mihara shoes.
