Ever since Cydney Mandel shoes were introduced in 1999, they developed a cult like following among celebrities such as Madonna, Cher, Brooke Shields, Courtney Cox, and Queen Latifah.

Cydney Mandel blends today’s fashion with old world craftsmanship and quality. Using her architectural training she approaches each shoe as a work of art. Luxurious fabrics and unusual trimmings such as hand painted silk jacquard and semi precious stones adorn each shoe. Cydney constructs each shoe upon an ergonomic footbed enveloped in rich luxurious fabrics and crowned on a hand crafted bottom.

Now with the help of Xela Mandel, Cydney’s style conscious daughter, they have come together to form a whole new brand. CYD shoes were introduced in fall 2004 and have been an overnight success. Having all of the comfort and design of its older sister, CYD uses vintage materials such as men’s ties, and funky buttons to create a younger hipper vibe. CYD shoes are quickly showing up on the feet of young Hollywood starlets.
